Any Advice for Aspiring Artists?
If you make it because it seems to be a current trend, you won’t like it as much as if you make it because it pleases you, makes you smile, warms your heart.

There are so many that it's hard to choose just one. Of course, I have different favorites for different occasions. I love Paganini Trattoria's garden for leisurely outside dining on a beautiful summer evening. It's such a lovely garden and the food is terrific. Vine & Fig Tree is wonderful for a healthy, flavorful meal in an eclectic atmosphere. And when you want to be social, you can't beat Bobby Simone's for a great time with great friends, drinks and delicious food.

About the Artist or Work:
Cowgirl Chile Co. Jewelry is designed and handmade by artist Laura Rutkowski in her Doylestown studio. Each piece is created one at a time. No casting or molds are used. Many pieces are created with rough, un-faceted gemstones, letting the natural beauty of the gem become the focal point of the jewelry.

Advice for Aspiring Artists:
The best advice I ever got was when I was eight years old and I’ll pass it along. It came from friend of my parents who was a painter. He told me that the secret to becoming an artist was to paint what you see. You have to feel what you're creating, and you must have a deep passion for it. You can't fake those things and it must truly come from within.

"Frame your art"! Once you frame your art, it will make you feel good, and is very satisfying.  Most amateur photographers never print and frame their work because they don't think they are good enough, when in fact they are usuallyvery talented. Once you decide to frame your work, it's time to sell your work at the festival. What a great feeling to know someone is hanging your art in their home.

The beautiful Bucks County course, with its six grueling fourteen mile laps through Carversville, has been designed to give race fans an intimate and exciting view of endurance sport at its very best. It's a taste of the Tour de France in a spectacular setting, with the top North and South American racers fighting to win the final UCI race of the season.

“We’re extremely excited to have a race of international standing right here in the heart of Bucks County” said Jack Thompson, President of the Thompson Organization. He continues, “It’s a great sense of pride to know that we had a major part in keeping this race in Doylestown.”
